Lorrie Jones, Founder of Simple Serenity LLC, is a disordered eating specialist, mindfulness based stress reduction expert, yoga teacher and longtime health educator dedicated to fostering mindfulness, self-discovery and personal transformation. Lorrie has gained and lost over 1,900 pounds during a 10 year period of her younger life and has learned, through personal experience, that diets do not work. As the only person in Washington State certified to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Lorries enjoys a private consulting practice where she mentors and motivates women to transform their relationship with food and eating, and reclaim their self worth and self respect.
